Pit Of Our Souls Rescue

We are a 501c3 Non-profit Animal Rescue that deals primarily with dogs from our local shelters who are in need of forever homes. We will never turn away a dog in need of any breed, size or type. We are a foster based rescue with plans on opening a facility in the future through the support gained by the community. We are always in need of fosters!

Founded in the winter of 2012 by Voula Parisis and Melissa Arnold-Velazquez; We are now a team of 8 having brought on board Denise, Mia, Jessica, Nicole, Roger & Kim. Our focus is not only to rescue and re-home those in need, but to educate and rehabilitate to prevent the cycle from continuing, as much as we possibly can. We offer boarding, training, & as much assistance as possible to community members in need.

Second Chance Rescue NYC

Founded in 2009, Second Chance Rescue NYC’s mission is to reduce animal overpopulation in shelters, rescue and rehabilitate critically injured and neglected animals, and connect the community to services that enable animals to remain in their homes.

When an animal is most in need, shelters call us to help. Not because other rescues are not capable, but we are fortunate to have an incredible support network, donors, and medical teams that enable us to do the impossible.

The only way we can say yes and relieve the suffering is with your help. So, together, we are making life better for these animals and relieving suffering one breath at a time.

Yorkie911 Rescue

Founded in July 2010, Yorkie911 Rescue, Inc is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization comprised of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about rescuing, vetting, and re-homing Yorkshire terriers and other small breed dogs. Given our many years in rescue, we’ve come to realize that saving every needy dog is impossible, but we remain forever grateful for the ones we do save.

Our mission is to rescue and ultimately find the perfect adoptive home for the Yorkshire terriers and other small breed dogs in our care. They are also committed to raising awareness throughout their community about the Yorkie and other small breed dogs.
